Every once in a while, there comes along an artist who has so much substance and knowledge that they effectively change the norm. The words they speak and the stories they tell do something to our minds and hearts that allow us to recognize their realness and credibility so much that imposters take cover. Besides aiming to inspire, motivate, and reach, all those who come into contact with their craft, there is also a genuine bond born. In an industry where many claim the true essence of its origin is dead, Crime is determined to bring Hip-Hop back to life.

“Hip Hop, for lack of a better analogy, is in a rebuilding phase,” claims Crime. “I think some artist have wavered from the true concept and culture. While music is supposed to make you dance and have a good time, it’s still supposed to tell a story. A story that causes relation and thought between the listener and the artist.”

Unsigned Hype Reason

They said that Dean Martin was the "King of Cool," and they were probably right. It takes a certain type of person to become the center of attention the way he did. It's the kind of person that Orlando, FL raised, Los Angeles based rapper Reason idolizes. "Old Hollywood" seemed like light-years away for Reason, growing up and honing his craft in a place that's better known for Mickey Mouse than music. But that was never a deterrent for the young talent, who eventually found himself rapping for Diddy on MTV's "Making The Band 2". After appearing on video game soundtracks, performing all across the world, and releasing critically-acclaimed mixtapes, Reason finally decided to further emulate his idol by moving to Los Angeles. Now at age 26, Reason has matured into a natural entertainer and showman, with Rat Pack-like charisma and style. He's on the brink of releasing his debut EP "The Cool Graduate" and the music video for his single "Life of a Star," a track that certifies him as a Hip-Hop crooner extraordinaire. The budding rapper/screenwriter plans on taking the entertainment industry by storm, with great music, television, and film projects in the works. Much like his idol, Reason plans to do everything with a sense of coolness, class, and sophistication. The kind of qualities that made Dean Martin a legend. Something that Reason hopes to one day become...

OhGinelle

How can you describe OhGinelle? A combination of sweet sultry vocals, blending R&B, pop, and classical all into one. That’s how you can define OhGinelle. Inspired by artists such as Diana ross, Sade, Brandy, Mya, and Tamia, OhGinelle's smooth and soulful vocals are a new twist on the classics.

Born in New York and raised in beautiful south Florida, OhGinelle is known for saying "I'd rather sing then talk. I'd rather dance then walk". It may seem backwards, but to OhGinelle it makes total sense. OhGinelle's musical foundation was established at the tender age of seven. She attended a music school where she played the piano and often auditioned for roles in plays. One year she managed to get a lead role that included singing. "I sang Etta James 'At Last'. I was kind of nervous, but the audience loved it and gave me my first standing ovation." From that point, there was no denying that music would be her life.

What is a dream? Some may say a dream is nothing more than a vivid thought created while sleeping while others say a dream is something that will never manifest. To achieve a dream one must possess a dedicated work ethic, constantly strive and have a never give up attitude towards your goal. Failure is the greatest way to achieve success because success is greater appreciated once you have experienced failure. If there is one person that possesses the passion and desire to turn dreams into realities it is Courtney M. Gonsalves also know as Fly C. This gifted and fierce lyricist was born October 8th, 1988 on the tough, lower class streets of Boston, Massachusetts, in a neighborhood known as Roxbury. Growing up FLY C rapped as a way to cope with stressful everyday problems and adversity. Fly C’s clever word play helped him to realize that rapping was not only a way to relieve stress but also a way to display his creativity. After gaining the confidence to perform in front of crowds at the tender age of thirteen and noticing the reaction of peers and spectators, he recognized that this was a dream he had to pursue. Fly C was influenced by artists such as Jay-Z, Can-I-Bus, Big Land and, The Notorious B.I.G. As the popularity of these artists increased their lyrics were being recited by students in school and individuals in the street and Fly C knew that it would only be a matter of time before fans would be repeating his lyrics. Years of freestyling, ciphers, and battles helped develop this young mans unique style of rap and the use of his punch lines to excite the listeners. This dream came true with the release of his solo mixtape in 2007 entitled "2nd Son Of Jorell" in which FLY C demonstrates his lyrical ability with the use of distinguishing punch lines as well as discussing his life events as though it was a movie. Fly C is looking to bring Boston to a mainstream audience so that they can receive the recognition that they deserve. Fly C will continue his journey with the release of his highly anticipated mixtape TBP, “The Business Proposal” scheduled to be released soon.
