There aren't too many truthful lyricist in todays world of Hip Hop. Bronx native Frank Ramz is one of the last few. He has had two features on ALLHIPHOP.COM which recieved nothing but great reviews and is currently working on his 4th FREE project in less than a year. His most recently released project called "No Effort Involved" was simply a bunch of his unreleased and unused tracks that he was sitting on for a few years thrown onto one project! His lyrics are a mirror reflection of his life; things that he has seen and been thru. His intentions are to motivate, breed positivity and inspire others. Hip Hop is beginning to look brighter and Frank Ramz is definately contributing to the cause!

Urban Steez: Tell everybody your name and what area you represent?
The names Frank Ramz and I Represent the Bronx, NY.
Urban Steez: How did you come up with your music name?
Frank Ramz: It's a shortened version of my full name, which is Franklin Rambert.
Urban Steez: How long have you been doing music and what made you get into music?
Frank Ramz: I've been doing music for a little over 10 years and it all started with Mase. He was my favorite rapper and it was his first album, Harlem World, that initially inspired me to begin rapping.
Urban Steez: Mase was my favorite to, no lie!! I remember ironing my clothes in the morning blasting “Harlem How would you describe your style and why? World”!
Frank Ramz: I Could describe it in many ways, but I Mainly call it Reality Rap. You can find nothing but truth in my music. I Rap about regular day to day ish and struggles because I Know there are people who can relate to it and find peace within my music. They can use it as an escape from reality.
Urban Steez: If you had to pick which label to be signed to what would it be and why?
Frank Ramz: I Don't really have a label that I'd prefer to be on. BUT, I Am educated on the business side of the industry and please believe, I Will not get GOT! So, I Don’t mind who TRIES to get me, it won't happen if I'm not digging what they are putting on the table. And with all of that being said, I Don't mind who I Get signed to.
Urban Steez: Real talk!! Who would you want to collaborate with in the music industry and why?
Frank Ramz: Where is Lauryn Hill? I Love Lauryn Hill! I Def want to do something with her. And also, Andre 3000. Hopefully all 3 of us on one joint together!
Urban Steez: Man, you just named two musical geniuses!! No one has ever came close to what they put on the table especially Lauryn…. What are you working on now and when can fans expect to hear more from you?
Frank Ramz: Right now I'm heavily promoting my 4th project called "Falling Up", which will be dropping on April 30th.
Urban Steez: Yessir, I will be looking forward to that, you got flow…Who are your influences?
Frank Ramz: Mase, Michael Jackson, The Bar-Kays, Lupe, John Legend, Andre 3000, Jay-Z, Otis Redding...the list goes on and on.
Urban Steez: That’s Wassup!! What do you think of the hip hop/ music world right now?
Frank Ramz: I Think it's at a sad state but it's beginning to look up and get back to the lyrics!
Urban Steez: I can dig that. What do you plan to do with your first royalty check?
Frank Ramz: Make my mothers dream come true. Get her the house down south she always wanted!
Urban Steez: Righteous!! What car do you feel will serve you right when you make it big?
Frank Ramz: The car I'm driving now, a smoke grey Pontiac G6. All I'm going to do is put darker tints on them. I Don't need a damn car!
Urban Steez: Who is your celebrity crush?
Frank Ramz: Zulay Henao! haha

Frank Ramz: My manager, Khareen Georges, she def holds me down! My girl, Nas Ramz, stays in my corner regardless the weather. My family and friends of course! Big shouts to B. Logik who produced half of the "Falling Up" project and Charlie Hilton who is one the dopest and most consistent producers iKnow.
