Hello everyone!! My name is Vanessa Nina, my family is from Haiti, I was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Miami, Florida. Urban Steez: How long have you been modeling? Vanessa: I’ve been modeling for 3 years. Urban Steez: Did you always want to be a model or was it just something that you stumbled upon? Vanessa: I was not always the fairest one of all. I was a nerd back in the day! You can ask anyone who went to school with me!! I got picked on about my teeth and my hair wasn’t relaxed. So I stayed to my books. I’ve always wanted to model but didn’t actually start up until 3 years ago. My shyness and insecurities held me back from pursuing Modeling but now I’m no longer shy and very confident about myself! Urban Steez: That’s wassup!! What would you say is your best feature and why? Vanessa: My best feature would have to be my lips and my eyes. I love my lips because they are full, not to big and not too thin. I love my eyes because they are kind of small, almost asian-like. So I can pass for many different ethnicities. Urban Steez: Thin lips…. not a good look! What do guys say is your best feature? Vanessa: I’ve been told that I have a big butt for such a small person. Lol Urban Steez: ( singing ) Vanessa got a big o butt lol !! What is your ultimate goal in life? Vanessa: Be my own BOSS. Urban Steez: Can't lose with that! What are your hobbies? Vanessa: My hobbies include modeling, going to the beach, going to events with my girls. Just enjoying my life. Urban Steez: Very well. So, Vanessa in your opinion what are the negatives and positives of modeling? Vanessa: The negative of modeling is that we’re looked upon as “Eye Candy”, basically just sit there and look pretty. I think a positive side to modeling is when you use that image and you grab the attention of people and actually change their image of you. Showing them you are able to do other things beside just take a picture. For instance open your own business, design your own clothing. Just a few to name. Urban Steez: That’s real!! Name one nasty habit you have without scaring the readers lol? Vanessa: Lol.. Umm I have a bad habit of biting my nails when I’m nervous. I wear acrylics to prevent that. Urban Steez: That’s gross!! Weird I never get that hungry when I get nervous lol j/k What would it take for a guy to win your heart? Vanessa: Lol its so funny that you ask that, I made a video about what I like in a guy: But to sum it up, Lol I like a guy who’s respectful, goal oriented, has his life together and who will appreciate and love me. Its simple but I can’t seem to find a guy like that now-a-days. Urban Steez: Okay, I just saw the video…. and Damn, it was shallow… I loved it!! Any advice you want to give to people in your position or things you may have learned in the process of becoming model? Vanessa: You have to have tough skin and you have to be smart. The flashy life can sometimes cause you to do things or be involved in things you’ve never been exposed to. Always know your limits and stick to them. No matter who it is or how much money they have. Urban Steez: That’s wassup! Any pet peeves? Vanessa: Uggh yess!! I dislike when women are jealous of other women. In the words of Nicki Minaj, “STEP YOUR PUSSY UP!” Urban Steez: Lol Ha ha!! What music do you have is in your sound system right now? Vanessa: The Dream, its sexy and I could listen to his album from start to finish. Urban Steez: The Dream CD is the business!!
