I'd like to start this one off by apologizing to my mom, because she's really not going to like this blog. I love to swear. I think in the right moment, it can really punctuate your sentence, and let someone know, you mean business. I've never really understood the stigma behind swearing. Words are words, they're given power by the user, not by merely existing. Right, I get it, there are negative words, hurtful words, downright rude words, but you're telling me when it comes between hate, ignorance, racism, and shit, I'm going to get frowned upon for the last one? Four letter words, are just that, four letter words. I'd much rather hear my neighbor dropping a few F bombs than N bombs. I'd rather hear someone thrown in a few shit's or crap's than tell me they hate someone. Swearing is color commentary to my everyday banter. It sprinkles a little spice into the right moment. And quite frankly, I think people should focus a little more on the fact that I'm a positive and loving person and a little less on the fact that sometimes, I swear like a sailor who drank a little too much whisky.
