Crabs in a Barrel: Friends
or Foes?
I
decided to touch on a topic this month that is very close to home. We've
all experienced so-called friends that you later find out aren't really
looking out for your best interest. With the days of Myspace, people
use it as tools to hate and stalk among other things trying to invade
your serenity. The term Hating has been used so much lately that I believe
people forget the actual meaning of it. I decided to take it back to
the old school term and explain how to overcome it. Since becoming an
author I've noticed this more dominantly than I have any other time
in my adult life. So why is that people hate to see you successful?
I definitely believe in the crabs in a barrel effect and I'm going
to explain my situation with hopes that someone else will see the warning
signs and back away the instant they see the things that I slept on.

society I believe that it is safe to say that more people cheat than
in past times. And it is also safe to say that the Jump-Offs no longer
want to play the background but feel that they deserve a place in the
forefront. With that being said, I want to discuss some of the issues
that come with having a little something on the side and how men are
having just as many issues controlling the environment as the women
are playing their position...

Double Standards: Multiple Sex Partners
When speaking of double standards most
people would agree that they do exist. From occupation to ethical norms
women are supposed to be both submissive and feminine. Believe it or
not there are a lot of people in our society that agree with these ridiculous
standards, which leads me to an issue that has always been looked at
in a way that I totally disagree with. When speaking of having multiple
sex partners men are looked up to by their peers whereas women are called
every degrading term in the dictionary. Why is this? How is it okay
for one group but not another?
