Urbansteez.com: Tell us your name, and what area do you represent?

City Haze: I go by City Haze & I represent the South Bronx & Brooklyn , New York .

Urbansteez.com: How long have you been pursuing a career in the music industry?

City Haze: So far I've been recording music for about 7 months now & within the short time period ? I've definitely accomplished a lot .

Urbansteez.com: What were you into before music?

City Haze: Before music I was into basketball, things went a whole other direction when I started writing music.

Urbansteez.com: As an artist how would you describe your style and why?

City Haze: I believe I'm very versatile when it comes to music , most people describe me as a hot lyricist but I never limit myself to what I'm capable of delivering to numerous crowds of people who listen to Hip Hop .

Urbansteez.com: If you had your pick which label to be signed to, which label would it be and why?

City Haze: To be completely honest... I have no idea because mainstream music is so different I really have no clue , but I would definitely want to be signed to a label that will help me build as an artist & business man in the industry .

Urbansteez.com: Who in your future would you want to collaborate with and why?

City Haze: In the near future I definitely would want to collaborate with Jay Z , Timbaland , Keri Hilson , Damien Marley , Matthew Santos , Beanie Sigel , Lupe Fiasco & there's plenty more . The few people that I named are all artists that I listen to on a daily basis , reasons for why I would wanna collaborate with these people is because of what their capable of bringing to a hot track or better yet...a hot single .

Urbansteez.com: What are you working on now, and when can we expect to hear more of you?

City Haze: Recently I just finished my 1st mixtape "New York Warning" a small project that I'm putting out to help build my exposure .I've already started working on another project "City Lane" which is definitely a more serious project , haven't set a release date for it yet but its definitely in the works & the production that I have so far is without a doubt off the chain!!!

City Haze: My influence is just life in general , what I go through & learn everyday , family etc, etc .)

Urbansteez.com: What do you think of the hip hop / music world right now?

City Haze: Definitely different from who & what I grew up listening to. Few months back  statements & quotes were being said that Hip Hop is either dead or dying, do I agree?? Music is what we make it , yea some people failed to know what Hip Hop means & represents but there is a new cloth/generation of music coming up & I'm definitely trying to change words around on the music scene .

Urbansteez.com: Thats wassup! What will you do with your first royalty check?

City Haze: Depending how much it is haha but I would definitely invest, that's my 1st rule of thumb .

Urbansteez.com: When you make it big, what car will you first purchase?

City Haze: Probably a Ferrari or a Mercedes.

City Haze: City Haze!!

City Haze: Wow....to be honest I have no idea , but I definitely see a handful that I might be interested in (hahaha) .
