(David E. Beats )The White House Band - Wasup

300x450whitehouseUrban Steez: Tell everybody your name and what area you represent?

Hey #teamdopesauce! I am David E Beats of The White House Band! I hail from Washington DC!

Urban Steez: How did you come up with your music name?

David E: My personal name is my real name with Beats at the end of it, mainly because I make beats. The White House Band came about because I thought it sounded cool at the time!

Urban Steez: How long have you been doing music and what made you get into music?

David E: I decided to become a musician at 14 years old. The first album I heard was Jay-Z’sThe Blueprint. It inspired me to become a rapper and a musician.

Urban Steez: How would you describe your style and why? And what do you feel you can bring to the table as an artist?

David E: I have to say my style and the style of the band is one that represents music in its purest and most creative. We don’t concern ourselves with making radio hits, we just make music that sounds epic!

Urban Steez: If you had to pick which label to be signed to what would it be and why?

David E: None right now. I like to keep my paychecks.

Urban Steez: Lol I FEEL YA!! What’s the biggest challenge you feel you face as an artist?

David E: Just rising to the cream of the crop. There is so much noise out there, we have to work harder to establish ourselves as a real band.

Urban Steez: Yessir, I personally think internet was the best thing that happen to hip hop, for that main reason. Who would you want to collaborate with in the music industry and why?

David E: Anyone really, Soulja Boy, Kanye, Jay-Z, everyone!

Urban Steez: That's Wassup! So how do you feel you rank against top music talents today? And why?

David E: Obviously I rank first. I am just better.

Urban Steez: You have multiple talents, from producing beats, playing guitar, and rappin, a Triple Threat! What are you working on now and when can fans expect to hear more from you?

David E: We just released a new single called #Wasup! Where you can find it is > http://thewhitehouseband.net/#/Discography

Urban Steez: Dope song! Where do you see yourself a year from now?

David E: I see myself touring and selling records. Lmao

Urban Steez: Who and what are your influences?

David E: I love animes and movies with plots and Jay-Z. My main influences are anythingdavidecreative.

Urban Steez: What do you think of the hip hop/ music world right now?

David E: I think they need to get their priorities together.

Urban Steez: Can you imagine where hip hop would be without internet? TRASH! That would mean only guys in the suits get to choose what is hot. Its only a matter of time when being independent will be the norm… What music do you have playing in your sound system right now?

David E: Drake’s "Light Up" featuring Jay-Z

Urban Steez: MAN… Some of the best versus I’ve heard all year, seriously!! Who is your celebrity crush?

David E: I cant answer that yo. I’m married! Lol

Urban Steez: Lol smart move, playing the SAFE card, I see… How can business heads and fans contact you in the future (myspace, email, number, etc.)?
