With a blend of imagination, color, soul, and Hip-Hop you come up with the amazing artist Christopher Dupree Simply Known as Wordspit. Born in 1984, around the same time Run-DMC dropped their classic album 'Run-DMC', the Kings County Born native has always had all the ingridients needed to make a great MCee. He had the drug addicted mother who loved music, the street hustling father who was an musician, and the imagination to boot.
Wordspit, who began dancing and drawing at a young age discoverd he had a talent for entertaining, but it wasn't until the third grade that he discovered his talent for rhyming. He would freestyle with ease and knew he had a talent for 'spitting'. Wether it was slamming down the lunchtray in the lunch room, while his friend hits the 'beatbox', or letting it rip from street corner to street corner wordspit was perfecting his craft, and honing his skills.
Having performed and spit with the likes of the legendary 'Smooth the Hustler', and underground phenoms such as Outasight, Mickey Factz, Hi-Jnyx and Print he has now perfected his performance game and seems to be ready to take the world by storm one lyric at a time.

Unsigned Hype WordSpit Urbansteez.com: Tell us your name, and what area do you represent?

Wordspit: Well my name is wordspit and im represent east New York Brooklyn

Urbansteez.com: How long have you been pursuing a career in the music industry?

Wordspit: Hum I've been pursuing a career in the music industry since 2005, I think but I been spitting since a baby lol get it?

Urbansteez.com: Lol, yea in that case everybody can spit!! What were you into before music?

Wordspit: Hum I had a lil experience in the criminal underworld for a short time, but that really wasn't my thing, I was running real reckless in the streets for no reason, but once again I was always into music I just was doing other things that held me back from seeing this is what I should have been doing.

Urbansteez.com: As an artist how would you describe your style and why?

Wordspit: To me I'm a lyricist with a broad imagination, so can come at you from many different perspectives (I can relate Godzilla to the problems over in Japan or convey real vivid stories of struggles I been thru, )I got something called versatility .Not to many rappers can freestyle ,sing and make a good song when it comes down to the boiling point, that's why I'm unique I can appeal to various people.(Jesus juice)

Urbansteez.com: That's wassup!! If you had your pick which label to be signed to, which label would it be and why?

Wordspit: Dam that is such a hard question, but I probably go with good music because Kanye is a genius , I listen to his stuff now and be like man he has evolved since college drop out and that's what music is about constantly evolving. Feel me (or maybe Pharrell to) lol

Urbansteez.com: Who in your future would you want to collaborate with and why?

Wordspit: Rakim , Nas ,canibus ,big l (rest in peace)I would love to use some of his vocals ,kanye , Common, kool g rap ,big daddy kane, Inspectah deck, linkin park ,system of a down ,unkle , gym class hero's ,my chemical romance , avril lavigne , jayz list goes on.

Urbansteez.com: You named some of the illest lyrical spitters in the game, I feel ya!! What are you working on now, and when can we expect to hear more of you?

Wordspit: Well right now I'm working on "The coolest bboi stance vol.1" and that should be dropping sometime before the summer. In between that I do shows in the nyc area ,so people can come out and hear some cuts of the cd that's not on myspace or any other site.

Wordspit: Rakim , Nas ,Canibus ,Jay z , Krsone .Kanye ,Common, Massinessa, Big l ,Pharrell..list goes on

Urbansteez.com: What do you think of the hip hop / music world right now? Unsigned Hype WordSpit

Wordspit: Well unlike others I like most of the hiphop that's out, we are going thru a depression ,so why not make music people want to shake they ass to (sister's shake your ass for spit lol)but for real I hear people talk the hiphop is dead ish, but hiphop was always happy in the beginning ,then people found out they can use it to convey a message. In the end it is all about what you like, I love music in general, far as me listening to the radio that's another story lol (yahh trick yahh lol)

Wordspit: Hum I see me running a company and making the right business ventures to secure my family and their family and there family(it's called being wealthy )

Urbansteez.com: What will you do with your first royalty check?

Wordspit: Truthfully I don't know might play the stock market depending on how big my check is lol .

Urbansteez.com: When you make it big, what car will you first purchase?

Wordspit: Fuck a car stocks and bonds didn't we just go over this , but I might want to go with a CLK Mercedes, with green 24's on it and suicide doors ,that's tatted with spit on the hood of i it , to piss the benz lovers off

Wordspit: Teyana taylor I think she is 18 now ,lol she is just so fuking fly and she got the sexiest sex pack, she can sing.
