On one boring day, a couple of
years ago my best friend and I decided to set up a 'mock' photo shoot.
We were only equiped with a disposable camera and the pool behind my
house. Our sole purpose was just to add more pictures to our myspace
collection, but after getting such a positive feedback I began to look
more into the modeling industry. After a few photo shoots, I was hooked!
While
I have aspirations of being a model, my main focus is to graduate from
Florida Atlantic University with a BA in Health Administration. School
has always been my priority. From there, I plan on becoming a director
in a health care facility while doing my modeling thang as well!

Urbansteez.com: Tell everybody your
name and where you are from?
Ms. Mode: Monique Mode, better known as
Queen Of CRUNK! Born and raised in Palm Beach
County, Flawda!
Urbansteez.com: How long have you been
modeling?
Ms. Mode: About a year or so
Urbansteez.com: Did you always want to
be a model or was it just something that you stumbled upon?
Ms. Mode: It's a funny story about how
I got started with modeling. Let's just say, it wasn't planned!!
Urbansteez.com: What would you say is
your best feature and why?
Ms. Mode: My best feature is my brain.
I think how I gain knowledge and put use of it is more attractive than any
physical attribute!
Urbansteez.com: What do guys say is
your best feature?
Ms. Mode: Either my lips or my legs
Urbansteez.com: Yea, I see why , the
thigh game is on point!! What is your ultimate goal in life?
Ms. Mode: To be successful and happy
overall! I'm majoring in Health Administration, so I plan on eventually
becoming a director in a health facility.
Urbansteez.com: That's wassup!! What
are your hobbies?
Ms. Mode: Dancing!! That's where the
name CRUNK came from. I like to read also. I'm very interested in
learning just about everything that I do not already know!
Urbansteez.com: Lol, you do call
yourself the Queen of crunk... In your opinion what are the negatives and
positives of modeling?
Ms. Mode: Its funny how both the
negatives and positives can be very much intertwined. While I enjoy getting
glamorous, traveling and the attention, I also dislike being on the move all
the time and when people that I do not know are too much into my business.
Urbansteez.com: Name one nasty habit
you have without scaring the readers lol?
Ms. Mode: I like the smell of my own
gas!! Sssh... Don't say nothing!! LOL
Urbansteez.com: Lol, im sorry but I
have to say you're a weirdo for that one, when gas gets under $2 bucks again I
might just take a whiff out of pure joy lol ... what would it take for a guy to
win your heart?
Ms. Mode: He has to be able to spit
that knowledge to me!! I love an intelligent guy with plenty of ambition and
goals. The rest would take entirely too long to explain. I guess you can say
I'm picky!
Urbansteez.com: Well better to be picky
than to settle like most! Any pet peeves?
Ms. Mode: When people attempt to sound
intelligent and say "conversate." That is not a word. The correct word is
converse. Also, when I tell a guy that I have a boyfriend and he says "your man
won't let you have any friends?" I hate that with a passion!
