Coming fresh off the release of his last EP back in July, Reese and Jimmy's Dope Adventure, Jimmy Astro has been working hard to put his name out there. After being featured on popular websites such as Hypetrak and Livemixtapes, Jimmy has been living by the motto of one of his hip-hop idols, “no days off.” The young artist is working on multiple EPs, his next album, and loosies here and there. This new release by the 5thFlo representative can be categorized under the latter.

“The Temptations (Barry Gordy)”, features production from fellow up-and-comer, Waffles, and lives by the title. A smooth track that is accompanied by clever lyrics and a catchy hook. Lines such as “So let me concentrate, never having time to waste/ Life is an elixir, its a mixture that I'm trying to taste” are recited smoothly over the clean synth and drum pattern.
