Hov will host his own Sirius show for a week.

The world has fell in love with Jay-Z the lyricist: now they can fall in love with Jay-Z the radio personality. Sirius Satellite Radio has announced today that Jay-Z, real name Shawn Carter, will host his own Sirius radio show for an entire week starting Nov. 5.

The show, Jay-Z Nation, was created as a marketing tool to promote the rapper's tenth album American Gangster, which will be on shelves Nov. 6.

Jay-Z Nation will feature music from Gangster, with introductions from the rapper, a live concert playback of his upcoming Chicago House of Blues performance, and a Top 20 Hip Hop Countdown.

"Jay-Z is one of the preeminent creative forces in the music industry," Scott Greenstein, SIRIUS President of Entertainment and Sports, said.

"Over the last decade, he has truly changed the face of hip-hop and music culture. We are excited to have him take over our airwaves and provide our listeners with this unique and exclusive experience."
