A Suffering World
In a great big world
with many colors and races
You see worry and sadness
in so many human faces
Carrying angry hearts
filled with bitterness and hate
Go about with their lives
not knowing their fate
No smile on their faces
no peace in their life
The misery and pain
brings them so much strife
So many men and women
partake in violent crime
They steal and they murder
just to profit a dime
Their addiction to drugs
robs even the very best
Lawlessness is so widespreadspread
north to the south, east to the west
Sexual predators
wander the net and streets
So many children in danger
with strangers he meets
Love, respect and trust
doesn't exist anymore
The once "Happy Family"
was thrown out the door
What's happened to this world
who honored a man and a wife
Whos joy was their children
and Christ ruled their life
It's hard to find joy
in a world with much pleasure
Seems people dig and dig
but can't find their treasure
Search in their horoscope
and look to the stars
To find peace of mind
they believe it's the bars
But they won't find it there
nor in any other place
They'll find it only in God
whose live they'll embrace
