Just Drama

I should have known it was a bad idea to go with ya'll
tonight
After all, I am the one that has never been in a fight
I only got one shot of patron before the air got thick
Chillin with the homies and here comes this chick
I heard, you said, better yet, first of all
Then I see another group making a phone call
At first I thought the drink was making me delirious
But from the look on your face, things were getting real serious
A quick reminisce on friends I've seen buried
Why we bring you? We forgot you are scary
We were supposed to be having a good time
There is always someone out for mine
Looks exchanged and the mental measuring stick had to be unbalanced
The aura of confidence is about to start some mess
So I aint paying them no mind, escalated into a challenge
This is drama but nothing has cracked off yet
All I hear is, them muh fuccas are going to show some respect
I'm started reasoning like we just got here, I haven't finished my drink
Girl there is no time to relax, better be quick and think
Absolutely nothing to do with this situation
It became a joke like I am as scary as scary can get
This is your fight and I am getting too old for this shyt
But daag the people I am with are the ones involved
Walk away from the problem, this isn't about to get solved
The air got so thick we knew something was bound to go down
The most irritated ones were walking around
Then it happened
My homegirl's home girl came with her man
We all know he is a G so nothing was planned
Somebody went by, that wasn't like any other
Right swagger, wrong color, no girls and all brothers
What's up, you tell me.... uh oh here it comes
Them against him, guess who can get jumped
First person that swings and he is gonna be dumpin
I'm like get your husband, she yells girl we aint married
And why are you being so dayum scary
By this point in true routine fashion my slippers came out of my purse
I started humming like I was in church
It better be one on one or I have to jump in
Guess I'd have to finish what I didn't begin
Re-evaluating decisions I have made lately
Glad I have my own mind, setting thoughts in stone
All of this drama, I could have stayed home
Pride is real strong and enforced for the meaning
Life can get so surreal it stops you from thinking
Association can place guilt on the most humble
If you're with them, you better get ready to rumble
Starting mess and clearing it are not the same
Just be careful of how hard you claim
When it comes down to it, those ones won't be there
All you will have left are answers that you cared
