OPEN UP
Ur wall
2 my wall,
not a gd look.
but its something that needs 2 b seen @ first,
nstead of us being more like open books.
2 giv us time 4 trial & feel 4 1 another.
2 keep the word love,out of us b n jus lovers.
2 help prevent advantages from takn place.
2 help keep the butterflies n my stomach,
from forming a smile on my face.
But then time happens,
& changes n feelns take place.
we start 2 c pebbles from eachother fall,
& lower & lower go the walls.
but just as that last 1 is about 2 hit the ground.
ur fear
takes control & starts rebuildn that mound.
& now here I stand open & confussed,
bcuz b4 neither knew what was behind that wall,
& the feelns u began to express,
im now not sure if they're even present at all.
2day, u can c me, but i can't c u,
& strangely don't now know what 2 do!
cuz if u were that 1 ive become accustomed 2,
then Ive started 2 do things that i usually don't do.
& now what was once so odd is what I'm use 2.
I know ur
heart wants 2 break thru,
I've seen it on the verge a few times n u.
What u c,is what many hav not found.
& w/no 1 do I care to go around & around.
So plse just open ur eyes
& take sight of it all.
Or let's just go back 2 day 1, & stand wall
to wall.
