I find myself laughing,

Thinking of happier times to come.

I feel the dryness of my tears now.

All signs of getting over you.

And it’s only the second day.

I’m remembering life before you,

Longing for life after you.

My heart is steady

My head is painless

And then I’m back too,

Watery eyes,

Soar throat,

Melancholy,

Proof that I haven’t reached what’s needed
