It was in my plans to love you forever

But our stubbornness derailed our intentions.

And now that your back shits all out of whack

And I’m feeling the incompleteness you established in my heart.

I’m in a world where fuck you and I love you are identical.

In the most critical part of our life we neglected each other?

So in my now I’ve detached my heart from love.

To find lust in my weakest hour,

Shackled it with forged smiles, fake desires and bogus loyalty

My thoughts stray towards your structure,

Then actuality disrupts my contemplation,

You’ll never be mine,

And that my mind has come to accept,

But my heart gradually tugs at your hem

Pleading to return to ancient times

When love was really all that mattered,

And your deep soft laughter cradled my heart,

And my presence lifted your sprit,

But love like that doesn’t exist anymore

So, I know you’ll never be mine.
