These two bewitching doll faced rappers, 22 year old cousins, Ashley "Bonnie" Best and Angelique "Kanarie" Johnson, are here to deliver what the game's been missing & sweeten the bland taste that both female rappers and hip-hop as a whole has been giving!
With keen guidance from their mentors, music greats, The A'z, and much creative control, the girls are doing their part to change societies perception of what girls should do & say!

After spending many years behind the scenes watching & admiring all of The A'z tenacious drive & dedication, the girls felt it was time to display their talents, and one late September night in 2006 they got their shot when they generated & preformed 2 hot 16's for their motivating forces, The A'z!

The gentlemen agreed that they had talent and began driving their dreams by giving them beats,advice, and the most vital asset, studio time. From their the girls went on to promote themselves around the bay and all over myspace creating a buzz & building a fan base! Now with the summer creeping up around the corner, they're sure to give off more heat than the sun, creating a legacy that will linger for

Honey n Da Bank: Our individual names are Bonnie & Kanarie
Our Group name is Honey N Da Bank ...We are from Oakland, California
And we represent THE TOP OF THE WORLD!

Urbansteez.com: How did you come up with your name ( Honey N Da Bank)?

Honey n Da Bank: Our name originated from our brothers The A'z, They came up with the concept because they feel as if we are sweet but we are about our money so that's Honey N Da Bank!

Urbansteez.com: I see... How long have you two been pursuing a career in the music industry?

Honey n Da Bank: Music has always been apart of our being, We never seen ourselves doing anything outside the music industry!

Urbansteez.com: What were you into before pursuing a career in music?

Honey n Da Bank: There's nothing before this... That was another lifetime and we can't recall just what it is that took place then.

Urbansteez.com: As artists how would you describe your sound and why?

Honey n Da Bank: We're like nothing anyone has ever heard but everything you've ever wanted to hear because we go against the grain and follow our own minds!

Urbansteez.com: If you had your pick which label to be signed to, which label would it be and why?

Honey n Da Bank: Our own label due to the fact that it would be a reflection of us & we wouldn't have to give up any of our profits!

Honey n Da Bank: anybody who is as talented and determined as us!

Honey n Da Bank: At this moment we are putting the finishing touches on our Mixtape "Valley Of Tha Dolls". Unsigned Hype Honey n Da Bank You can look out for that this summer and we're also working on our SPACE TAPE which is a mixtape for myspace. You can expect to hear more from us from here on out!
