Drawing from "life's experiences and the work of other writers" has helped Keldamuzik shape tracks like Mr. Right, Give You a Key, or the title track, and "girl power" anthem, Diva. The Diva album is set to explode with other hot joints like Bay Swag featuring Dem Hoodstarz and Excuse Me featuring Numskull of the Luniz

While know doubt Keldamuzik is a superb micsmith it's her writing that she's been honing since her childhood days of writing fairytale stories, that's the real genesis here. As the Oakland Ca. based Keldamuzik says about Diva "its music for all ages".

In 2005 Keldamuzik founded Golddigga Entertainment to release not just her own album but operates as a vehicle to release other artist already signed to the company.

It also acts as the production company for her hugely popular Diva T.V. hip hop reality show which gives the entrepreneurial spirited actress, model and hip hop artist yet another opportunity to get closer to her ever growing fan base, her fans get closer to her and gives more exposure to her debut album Diva.

Unsigned Hype Keldamuzik Urbansteez.com: Tell us your name, and what area do you represent?

Keldamuzik: Wasup? My name is Keldamuzik aka Diva is what they call me. I represent the Bay baby!

Urbansteez.com: How long have you been pursuing a career in the music industry?

Keldamuzik: I been at it for a while now, every since I was 16. I'm 25 now, so head is full of business and music.

Urbansteez.com: What were you into before music?

Keldamuzik: Before music, I had my hands dipped into too many things, writing was my first love, then soccer. I was really trying to be a good kid and go to college and stuff, but I knew there was something else waiting for me, which is music.

Urbansteez.com: Soccer huh!! An athlete, thats a good look...As an artist how would you describe your style and why?

Keldamuzik: My style is flavorlicious! I mean, it's a new sound that I'm bringing to the game. I have a little bit of everything, from old school flow to new school, along with clearly spoken words, to where you know what I mean and what I'm saying. My beats can go hard or soft, but either way you forget that a female is on the track, you really pay attention to my music and the lyrics of what this person is saying.

Urbansteez.com: If you had your pick which label to be signed to, which label would it be and why?

Keldamuzik: It would be my own. I think the whole label signing idea is out of the question for artist now, maybe if you're a pop star or singer that's different, but for hip hop artist, you have to build your own empire and start from ground 0. That is why I started Golddigga Entertainment. And I have people that help me within my company. It's funny because I get all these cats coming to my company thinking we're big time and they want to sign with us. I appreciate it and respect it, but I feel if you are in the business of music. Then create the business on your own.

Urbansteez.com: Yea I with you 100% on that!! Who in your future would you want to collaborate with and why?

Keldamuzik: Lots of folks! On the producer level, definitely Just Blaze, Kanye, Timberland. On the music level, Dj Quick, E-40, Yukmouth and Eminem. I know I can make magic happen with these people.

Urbansteez.com: What are you working on now, and when can we expect to hear more of you?

Keldamuzik: As of now, I'm recording tracks, I don't even want to call it a project, because mixtapes are overated, and I'm not making another album just yet. So I say recording tracks until I feel there is a demand to create an actual project. Also I work on my TV show Diva TV, which promotes my music on soundtracks, and showcases my networking skills with others.

Urbansteez.com: Nice, good stuff!! Who are your influences?

Keldamuzik: E-40, Yukmouth, Numskull (free Num), Da Brat, Left Eye, Eminem, I can go on!

Urbansteez.com: What do you think of the hip hop / music world right now? Unsigned Hype Keldamuzik

Keldamuzik: I think it has watered down a lot, because of all these new pop acts making music with us. Nothing is wrong with it, I mean its actually promoting us more, but I feel that when they are over with it. Their fans will be too. Also on another level, I see other markets in the US and maybe overseas will start poppin off too, just like how the South did, I think the Bay is gonna come back, with the help of e-40, mistah fab, snoop and now Nelly who created a song about the Bay. It's our turn!!

Urbansteez.com: Where do you see yourself a year from now?

Keldamuzik: I see myself releasing another album, bringing my TV show to another level, and creating other outlets to promote my music. It's not all about signing to labels and getting airplay. You have to realistically think of what you can do as of now to promote, like working with other companies that are interested in working with you.

Urbansteez.com: What will you do with your first royalty check?

Keldamuzik: Re-invest

Keldamuzik: Hmmm probably the new lexus coupe!

Keldamuzik: lol hmmm probably Nelly, he seems to have a good business mind and respects the bay area's hustle and music. I like a guy like that J
