Unsigned Hype N.O. Capo New Orleans Finest

Rapping professionally since the age of 13, Jason Watson, a.k.a. Capito the N.O.Capo developed his passion for music while working as a radio DJ at WWOZ radio. Just two years later, he made his first recording, a song titled "Dreams."

Capito distinguishes himself among other rappers because he makes real music. He incorporates an eclectic mix of jazz, hip-hop, blues, classical, soft rock, and more in each of his songs. Music has always been his escape. It's kept him focused and directed away from costly distractions like living in a high crime area in New Orleans, having close friends murdered at a young age, and getting trapped by the streets. Later Capito began working in the business side of the industry with Lil Wayne. This exposure contributes to his special approach to business in the hip-hop genre.

While touring the states with Lil Wayne, Capito had a major turning point in his career. He saw his hometown, New Orleans, devastated by hurricane Katrina. Suddenly, his entire family was uprooted from his native city and forced to relocate.

Capito went back home to see what he could salvage. One of the few things untouched was his old rhyme book and a copy of his first song dreams.

This experience prompted a new chapter in Capito's career. Capito understood now was the time to pursue his own dreams in the music industry and give up touring with Lil Wayne. He decided to build upon the notoriety he had established and start his own label. With the help of his older brother Dwatt and good friends Rocko, Five, and Slim, Capito formed Forever Living Young Entertainment. They released "F.L.Y. Entertainment presents Capito the N.O. Capo......Creole Bled Vol. 1," which has created a huge buzz across the country.

Now armed with a big following and ever bigger demand for his music, Capito is aiming to reach new heights in the industry. He'll be releasing the most anticipating mixtape of the year called "City Under Siege" in early 08'.

Ron Patterson unsigned hype

Ron Patterson’s passion for music has only grown stronger since he began his career at the young age of 11. Since then he has cultivated his natural talent and skill. As a child, Ron was the lead vocalist of the soulful Hip-Hop group, the “Fly Guys”. From 1990 to 1994, the group appeared on BET’s “Screen Scene”, the nationally syndicated television show “ROC”, made numerous live appearances, and was featured many times in “Fresh” magazine. Actor/Director Charles S. Dutton saw such great potential in the guys that he wasted no time signing on as their financial manager. The members of the “Fly Guys” were a success, but at such a young age, still had many years of education ahead – both in school and in life. The group broke up, but Ron was not discouraged. His genuine love of music and entertainment led him to start producing and writing for himself as a solo artist. Ron’s gift of music also allowed him to teach himself how to play the piano and the guitar. A few years later, Ron made the responsible decision to continue his schooling, and attended UC Berkeley. Ron’s studying at UC Berkely in Cognitive Science and Mathematics, and his involvement in Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. both empowered him and taught him the true meaning of self-discipline. The sum of his experiences at Berekely made Ron a more marketable artist. Throughout his time at Cal, Ron never gave up on his dreams of one day becoming a renowned musical talent. In fact, the knowledge he gained made him not only a musician, but also a businessman with a plan and control over his career. This past few years have been a virtual whirlwind for Ron: he has opened for artists like Brian McKnight, Deborah Cox, Chico DeBarge, Aaron Hall, Carl Thomas, Thicke, KC, Dave Hollister, Anthony Hamilton, Trina, and Marques Houston; he has filmed his own music videos; and he has spent hours in the studio creating music – each song even hotter than the one before

Unsigned Hype Deuce

Born in the mid 1980's in the gang and drug infested city of Compton, Ca. Deuce was given a first hand look at the reality of ghetto America. Being raised in such a troubled community has had a major influence on him, as a man, and as an artist. It has taught him that tomorrow isn't promised, which ignites his drive and excellent work ethic. He began free styling at the age of 11, and at 12 he began writing rhymes, used as his way to vent his frustration due to the untimely death of his brother. He passed time by experimenting with lyrics, drum machines, and turntables that his parents bought him for Christmas. But it was writing lyrics that kept his attention at all times. In the summer of 2004 Deuce began to take rapping seriously, deciding that this would be his career of choice. He formed a group called "The Hustlas" with group mates Black and Ding. In March of 2007, after a few years, nearly 100 songs, and several potential record deals that never materialized, he decided to pursue a solo career. Since then he has released a mixtape "Patiently waiting vol. 1" which gave listeners a vivid look at life through the eyes of a young man growing up in the ghetto. This included street favorites Perfect Beat, and Bonafide Hustla. He's currently working on his second mixtape "Patiently Waiting vol. 2", which should hit the streets late spring 2008. Deuce has an unusual ability to rap about subjects that would be categorized as "conscious", such as politics, and poverty but does it in such a heartfelt way he has formed a strong connection with the streets. He states " I refuse to compromise myself as an artist, I will say what needs to be said but will do so in a way that everyone can relate to, one way or another". With his god given talent, relentless work ethic, and ability to captivate listeners, leaving them hanging on the every word, Deuce will be a force in Hip Hop for many years to come. Get ready!!
