New.York City Presents.... Michael Alexandre -aka-Arsiney,
born April 10, 1986 to the times when epidemics came in threes; drugs,
violence, and HIV . Although, he was raised in this era, his fate
differed. His parents were epidemic-free! In the midst of it all, they
introduced him to music such as Quincy Jones, James Brown, and Black
Ivory to name a few. His father, a habitual guitar player and mother a
soulful listener, gave Arsiney a blueprint to all that he wanted his
life to be. Through sound and rhythm, rap became his reason and protest!
"All talent needs a home away from home"
At
the age of 12 he joined a rap group called Relicz , teamed by Ars'
manager Ray Graham and Ivan Tibbs. Nevertheless, a leading light took
its place, and Arsiney embrace his solo spot .The Relicz parted ways
with no hard feelings,and Cypha of the Relicz supports
his accomplishments thus far. Arsiney was young and curious beyond his
lyrics, and Ivan Tibbs identified his drive. Ivan into Music Production
and Ray being a Music Engineer, both introduced him to the production portion of music, and Arsiney excelled!
Ray
Graham and Ivan Tibbs forseen his abilities from the start,and knew
they had to keep him focus and strong-minded to prepare for what is to
come. Arsiney's outlet at the time was the studio, where he could
release his inner-city facings on the mic. Ray's Headquater studio kept
him off the streets most of the time,but living in the streets showed
him how to hustle, hearing gun shots made him appreciate life and
losing friends along the way made him want to speak. The studio also
gave him a safe zone. His love for music shows with each track he
records. Arsiney once wrote "WELCOME
TO MY WORLD. LOUD, CALM, REAL, COLORFUL, HATE, LOVE, PAIN, STREET. I
COULD USE EVERY WORD TO DESCRIBE MY MUSIC, BECAUSE MY MUSIC IS ME AND
IT REFLECTS THE THINGS THAT GO ON IN MY MIND. WHEN I PRODUCE I
LIKE TO PAINT A PICTURE. YOU SEE FOR ME SOUND IS ONLY 1D TO GIVE YOU 3D
I HAVE TO BRING THE LISTENER DEEPER INTO THE MUSIC, ITS MORE THEN JUST
WHAT THEY HEAR, BECAUSE FOR ME WHEN I HEAR SOUNDS AND DRUMS IN MY MIND
I SEE BACKDROPS AND COLORS AND STORIES BEHIND THEM. SO WHEN YOU HEAR A
SONG THAT I PRODUCED IF ITS R&B I WANT YOU TO FEEL THE MUSIC AND
VISUALIZE EVERY ESSENCE OF EVERY SOUND IN THE PRODUCTION. WHEN YOU HEAR
KEYS BEING PLAYED ON THE KEYBOARD I WANT YOU TO SEE STARS DANCING WITH
EVERY RISING NOTE ON THE PIANO. IF YOU HEAR A SOULFUL SAMPLE I WANT TO
FILL YOUR SOUL WITH WHATS IN MINES, AND THAT'S REALLLLLLL MUSIC.
Now
Signed to Unimagined Ent Music Productions, he looks forward to his
first international release called Music Sex Mda's & Converses,
which features his music production and songwriting skills with Ivan
Tibbs Executive Producer for the project. This project will make way
for his solo debut and the major possibilities of being signed to major
label. ( Arsiney is like no one I have ever worked with, our music
minds are similar, We live a music world that if its different its hot.

 Urbansteez.com: Tell us your name, and what area
do you represent?
Arsiney : My name is Arsiney and I represent Harlem
N.Y
Urbansteez.com: How long have you been pursuing a career in the music industry?
Arsiney : Since I was 13 so that would be about 8 years
Urbansteez.com: What were you into before music?
Arsiney : I was always into music, I wasn't one of those guys with
the wicked jump shot lol I like to draw though
Urbansteez.com: As an artist how would you describe your style and why?
Arsiney : as an artist I would describe my style as pure art in its raw
form, Im like the Picaso of music I don't study hip hop I'm a student of music
period all types and I try and let my words play the missing instrumentation
to any track
Urbansteez.com: That's wassup!!If you had your pick which label to be signed
to, which label would it be and why?
Arsiney : Unimagined Rec. I like knowing that I'm apart of a team
that I help build it gives me more freedom and it feels good working with
people you know believe in you.
Urbansteez.com: I feel that, Unimagined Records in the Building, YaDigg!!! So
who in your future would you want to collaborate with and why?
Arsiney : Anybody who I feel has a love of music as deep as me. I'm a weird guy
so they have to be able to think outside the box, with that said to name a few
people Kanye West, Neptunes, Timbo the King lol. As far as artist anybody who's
open minded. its weird because I'd like to work with a lot of artist who ain't
even signed yet. why? because why not?
Urbansteez.com: What are you working on now, and when can we expect to hear
more of you?
Arsiney : We just finished up a mixtape called In My Shoes Vol. 2 and myself
and Unimagined Ent. just finished a Compilation Album titled: Music
Sex Mdas and Converses, it will be out late 08. Im working on tracks for a
few people currently working on sumthin with lumidee so im makin moves. for now
I'm more into the promotion stage I have a very large body of work already.
Urbansteez.com: That's wassup!!Who are your influences?
Arsiney : Thats a hard one because most of my biggest influences come from
moods, life, backdrops, even colors. Im weird like that so I don't know. As far
as artist Jay-z, my boy Cyphe, Kanye West, Common, Lupe Fiasco,The Neptunes,
N.e.r.d, and my partner Shies we always push each other to do more with our
music.
Urbansteez.com: What do you think of the hip hop / music world right now?
Arsiney : I think that there is no balance. I feel like for every wack
record there should be a hot one to give listeners a point of reference. Like
if everything is just so so then what's good? You wont know because people
aren't making real music anymore there just making trend music, that's cool I
like to make trend music sometimes to but I create a balance so that it doesn't
get boring. People are trying to paint backdrops using only one color its so
boring. Don't get me wrong there are a few people who are reminding us of the
balance and expanding our minds making us go" o shit how did he do that or
how did she do that" but for the most part I hear a lot of people
saying" I'm tired of that"

Arsiney : Depends on how much it is.

Arsiney :
I'm not a big car person, I'm not up on the latest I just know what I like so
what ever can catch and hold my attention for the longest lol

and why?
Arsiney : This is a trick question ask me this same question in like 4 years i
should be knee deep in gossip by then lol
