Urban Steez: Tell everybody your name and where you are from?

Desirae Brains…Beauty…and Body Brockington. I have lived all over the world, from Europe to Asia, yet I will always claim the West Coast as “Home” Particularly Arizona!

Urban Steez: The three “B’s”, Niiiiiice! How long have you been modeling?

Desirae: Over 10 years

Urban Steez: Did you always want to be a model or was it just something that you stumbled upon?

Desirae: For the most part…modeling was an outcrop of me loving to be around people…take pictures…and visually create the mental image I had of myself in the form of picture. Seeing the end results of my efforts has been gratifying for me. From a young child, I have been very much inclined to gravitate towards things of beauty and substance.

Urban Steez: So what are you doing with yourself besides modeling? (Working, school, etc.)

Desirae: I continuously strive to be better…changing my goals as they suit my environment and as they fit in with where I desire to be. I do quite a bit of traveling, as visiting other countries, connecting with different cultures, and making lasting networking partners all while doing what I love.

Urban Steez: What would you say is your best feature and why?

Desirae: Wow, well…I have said this many times before in other interviews and it still remains true…what others perceive as my beauty will get me in the door, but it is my brain that keeps me in the game. Other than that…I love the outline of my neck.

Urban Steez: Like I always say, “ Looks will get you the keys to the house, but it’s the brains and personality that pay the mortgage”. What do guys say is your best feature?

Desirae: I have heard many different things…we should ask the wonderful men on Urban Steez their opinion Beauty truly is in the eye of the beholder…what are they beholding?

Urban Steez: Yes it is!! All Im going to say is that it probably comes in pairs, just a thought… What feature would you say you like the best when it comes to men?

Desirae: Strong hands to rub me down anytime I want and the kind of eyes that will make me want it to last forever

Urban Steez: That was deep Desirae, watch OUT NOW!! What is your American Dream?

Desirae: My family is very much involved with Rotary International…an organization created to touch lives all around the world through community service. Service above self is the motto. It is my desire to continue to work with people who build communities through positive means and bridge continents so that the world as a whole can grow in knowledge as a human race. Giving back is important to me…by giving I’m living my own “waking” dream because everything I bestow onto others comes back to me as joy. There’s nothing greater than that feeling.

Urban Steez: I love it! What are your hobbies?

Desirae: Photography…weekend getaways…cooking…painting…oh yeah, and buying not shopping!

Urban Steez: In your opinion what are the negatives and positives of modeling?

Desirae: Positives: Recognition, Goal Fulfillment, and Experience. Negatives: Only having 24 hours in a day.

Urban Steez: I see you are a very positive person, that always a plus.. Name one nasty habit you have without scaring the readers lol?

Desirae: Taking all the peas out of any dish and squashing them with my napkin (I despise peas)…especially in Chinese food and Pot Pies.

Urban Steez: Lol, poor peas! So, what would it take for a guy to win your heart?

Desirae: I love this question because I recently discussed this on my Facebook page. In my opinion they have to be a “Superman”…not the typical Superman with only one “S” on their chest…they have to have at least 4 of them Lol, but really, and what I mean by that is: Stability...Stamina...Substance...Spirituality. In my eyes, these "four" cover what's otherwise known as...Financial Security, Sexual Satisfaction, the ability to converse on many levels...along with the desire to learn more about his place in the universe AND his ability to navigate through this ongoing movie called Life.

Urban Steez: I can dig that. Give us one of your Fashion or Beauty tips that readers can put into use?

Desirae: Get enough sleep to look refreshed and eliminate stress as much as possible…regular deep massages help.

Urban Steez: Any advice you want to give to people in your position or things you may have learned in the process of becoming model?

Desirae: Always trust your instincts about people, jobs…or situations and don’t let your current appetites steal away any chance you might get at a future feast…be selective in your dealings but always give 100%.

Urban Steez: Well Said! If you had to pick the ultimate photo shoot what and where would it be?

Desirae: In a Strawberry patch…surrounded by them, even all over my body…I love them that much.

Urban Steez: A STRAWBERRY PATCH, now that's new, but interesting!! In my case it would be a watermelon patch lol.. Give us any 3 items you cannot live without?

Desirae: God...Sex…and Joy…that covers everything in a nutshell

Urban Steez: I’m pretty sure no one can live without those 3. Any pet peeves?

Desirae: Someone who sends a texts and expects an immediate answer(within minutes) and then even follows up with more texts asking me why haven’t they got a reply yet…I’m not a slave to any electronic device.

Urban Steez: LMAO… I can relate! What music do you have is in your sound system right now?

Desirae: A combination of Etta James, Miguel…Bobby Womack and Jagged Edge…it all sounds so good on my Bose System.

Urban Steez: I likes! Being that you’re hot and you attract a lot of thirsty males, give us males ONE of your major NO NO’s?

Desirae: Coming up to me at the gym seeing that I’m working it out hard…with my iPod and all and want to have a conversation…it can wait.

Urban Steez: I can see that getting annoying! Any celebrity crushes?

Desirae: Yes…and he knows who he is..
